　　A man (Young) comes round after a car accident, and realises that a perfect crime is now possible: any movie with this scene can't fail. From this halfway point, the anxious mood of this rare noir thriller thickens fast. Jane Greer and Susan Hayward in turn tempt Young (a spineless louse) from his rich wife (Johnson). We know he's wretched, but is he guilty of murder?

Together with human rights lawyer Bernhard Docke, whom she soon has completely on her side (like almost everyone around her), she battles for the release of her son – using her very own brand of self-taught English – all the way to the Supreme Court in Washington, D.C.
　　Cologne-based comedienne, author, presenter and much more Meltem Kaptan is the perfect fit for Andreas Dresen’s special talent for combining explosive topics (in this case based on actual events) and the everyday concerns of the average citizen. Kaptan’s, or rather Rabiye’s, performance is overwhelming, and not just for the lawyer (played by Alexander Scheer) who quickly becomes a friend. A portrait of a passionate woman who holds the steering wheel of her beloved vehicle as firmly in her hand as she does the reins in this turbo-charged film.

　　成濑巳喜男反映乡村家庭伦理之作。寡居乡间多年的八重（淡岛千景 饰），同家中的叔叔一起，为下一辈子女的工作和婚姻事务四下奔波。但年轻人却各自有着自己的想法，向往现代生活而不愿继续安守着祖上的田地，对父辈安排的婚姻也有保留，令长者心力交瘁。八重与一位已婚记者悉心地照顾着侄辈，妥善地处理好两代人的冲突纠纷，在这一过程中，两人情愫渐生，彼此隐约地珍存着这份超出友谊的恋情。

　　解放初期的云南苗寨，人们翘首盼望着政府的马帮早点来，他们给边民生活带来极大的方便。张连长（吴漾 饰）接到指示，要他们保护马帮的安全。匪队长毕根（程之 饰）化装成瑶人混入村寨和小店主李三（梁山 饰）接头，把马帮要来的消息转告匪司令（方伯 饰），匪兵们欲抢劫马帮，被边防军击溃。匪徒们又在策划新的阴谋，一天，哈尼寨收到一张匪徒开列的单子，要他们准备粮食送给过路匪军，区委书记（冯奇 饰）和张连长分析这是敌人声东击西的诡计，真正意图是抢劫货物，边防军和民兵们布下口袋阵等敌上钩。经过一场激烈的战斗，他们打败了敌人，救出了被俘的蓝蒡（孙景璐 饰）。各村寨边民欢欣鼓舞，感谢政府派来的马帮......

　　弗朗西斯卡（多利斯·道灵 Doris Dowling 饰）是小偷沃尔特（维托里奥·加斯曼 Vittorio Gassman 饰）的情妇，沃尔特自私贪婪心狠手辣，常常虐待弗朗西斯卡，令她苦不堪言。最终，弗朗西斯卡决定从他的身边逃开，前往波流河自寻生路。
　　在波流河，弗朗西斯卡结识了同事希尔瓦纳（肖瓦娜·曼加诺 Silvana Mangano 饰），希尔瓦纳拥有俊俏的外表和高傲的性格，她暗暗的将弗朗西斯卡认定为竞争对手。沃尔特循着弗朗西斯卡的踪迹也来到了波流河，他被希尔瓦纳的美貌所吸引，向她展开热情的攻势。原来，沃尔特想要利用希尔瓦纳的职位之便来偷窃营地里的粮食，弗朗西斯卡虽然百般提醒希尔瓦纳，但后者并不相信她。
