　　影片故事讲述一个变态杀人狂（朱智勋 饰）藏匿了7起杀人案，他将和调查这些案件的刑警（金允石 饰）展开正面交锋。

　　在宇都宫市的城郊结合处，农村青年和田满夫（永島敏行 饰）和家人生活于此。随着城市化的推进，居住在农村的人们对都市的繁华充满憧憬，早已抛却旧有的质朴。满夫的父亲（ケーシー高峰 饰）离家出走，与一酒女长期厮混；兄长哲夫（森本レオ 饰）远赴东京，过起了白领的时尚生活。满夫则固守乡土，耕种着祖祖辈辈赖以生存的土地。平日里靠种植大棚西红柿营生，日子平淡倒也殷实。所谓儿女是父母的挂念，老母亲开始为老儿子张罗婚事，在加油站工作的花村绫子（石田えり 饰）便这样走入满夫的视线。不久，父亲为帮老友竞选回归家庭，满夫和绫子、好友、酒女间也纠葛不断，平淡的生活骤起波澜……
　　本片根据立松和平的同名小说改编，并荣获1981年电影旬报十佳影片第二名。

　　Single-mother Sandra (Clare Dunne) escapes her abusive partner with her two young children, only to find herself trapped in temporary accommodation. After months of struggling, she draws inspiration from one of her daughter’s bedtime stories and hits upon the idea of self-building an affordable home. She finds an architect who provides her with plans and is offered land by Peggy (Harriet Walter), a woman she cleans for. Aido (Conleth Hill), a building contractor, appears willing to help too. 　　司南（岛吾·德米尔考 Doğu Demirkol 饰）是一个土耳其男孩，刚刚从大学毕业的他正在准备出版自己的第一部小说。然而，出版小说需要启动资金，这是目前司南最缺乏的东西，无奈之下，他只得返回故乡恰纳卡莱省的乡下，在那里，居住着和司南久未联系的父亲伊德里斯（穆拉特·杰姆吉尔 Murat Cemcir 饰）。

　　Cologne-based comedienne, author, presenter and much more Meltem Kaptan is the perfect fit for Andreas Dresen’s special talent for combining explosive topics (in this case based on actual events) and the everyday concerns of the average citizen. Kaptan’s, or rather Rabiye’s, performance is overwhelming, and not just for the lawyer (played by Alexander Scheer) who quickly becomes a friend. A portrait of a passionate woman who holds the steering wheel of her beloved vehicle as firmly in her hand as she does the reins in this turbo-charged film.
